Money Counter

Practise with real-sized Australian coins and notes. Count your money, practise making an amount, or check if you have enough to pay and how much change you should get.

  1. Step 1: Tap any coin or note to add one to your pile. The total shows at the top.
  2. Step 2: Choose 'Make an amount' to practise making a price, then tap Check. Tap 'Show me how' for help.
  3. Step 3: Choose 'Can I pay for it?' and type a price to see if your pile is enough, and what change to expect.
  4. Step 4: Tap the ➖ next to an item in your pile to take one away, or 'Clear pile' to start again.

Coins

Tap a coin to add it to your pile. The coins are shown at their real sizes compared to each other. The $2 coin is smaller than the $1 coin, even though it is worth more.

Notes

Tap a note to add it to your pile. Real Australian notes get a little longer for every step up in value. A $100 note is longer than a $5 note, which helps people with low vision tell them apart.
